Mel Strobe says:
"Making this album was a life-changing event for me. This marks the first time I've ever copywritten a song as a cowriter. I never dreamed I would have the opportunity to produce something I was passionate about to completion. Writing the song ("All This Noise") with the band, was also cathartic for me. We took a sad-girl poem I wrote one day after a bad friend breakup, and turned it into a horror-movie-themed dance party song. Only a few lyrics from the original poem remain, but the song still captures the feeling of nostalgia and reminiscence about unfinished stories, and how the noise of life can sometimes get in the way of living. We must learn to dance with the noise, and even the horror. Make friends with our demons in radical acceptance. Appreciate the joys of life and accept the darker side of humanity. Life is in the living, and having friends to create beautiful art with makes it much sweeter."
